Rated the No. 1 safety in the nation coming out of high school, Landon Collins had a standout football career with the University of Alabama Crimson Tide. Landon's versatility at both safety positions, dime back and special teams allowed him to play 41 games, leading the team in both tackles and interceptions while receiving numerous awards his junior year.

Following the 2014 collegiate season, Landon declared for the 2015 NFL Draft and was considered the No. 1 safety on the board. He was selected by the New York Giants with the 1st pick of the 2nd round (33rd overall) after having moved up in the round. His physicality and aggressive playing style has NFL scouts predicting Landon as an instant impact in the National Football League. In 2015 Landon played as the starting safety for the Giants. He finished his rookie season with 9 pass deflections, 112 combined tackles, and an interception. 2016 was his breakout year with 125 combined tackles, 4 sacks, 13 pass deflections, 5 interceptions, and a touchdown. Landon helped earn the Giants a wildcard playoff spot, with an 11-5 record. He was also invited to play in the Pro Bowl, was named All Pro, and NFC defensive player of the year. Aside from his football work, Landon is beginning to do impactful work off the field. In June 2017 he hosted the Landon Collins Celebrity Softball Game, with proceeds going to help fight childhood cancer through the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund. What is apparent is that Landon has a long promising career ahead of him, and with his best yet to come.
